Peter Staes

Visual Alchemist

Peter’s passions are food and photography. Since 2000, he has run a photographic agency and he also trained as a chef, which resulted in working with Michelin starred restaurants on the World’s Best Restaurants 2013. Peter’s clients include, El Celler de Can Roca, Girona, Spain (No.1), Noma, Copenhagen, Denmark (No. 2), Osteria Francescana, Modena, Italy (No.3), Arzak, San Sebastián, Spain (No.8) and Vendôme, Bergisch Gladbach, Germany (No.10).

His work has also appeared in high-profile coffee table books, such as ‘Gastronomic’s Toolbook’ and ‘Ikebana Ohara a Song of Flowers’, (providing the entire photographic content) and many international publications.
