Line Lyster, founder and director of Redline Company and Gratitude Art, is a staunch supporter of Women in Business Spain. As a member of the board she dedicates a considerable amount of time and resources to helping spread the group’s message, so that business women on the Costa del Sol are kept informed of all activities.

This over the last few months, Line’s team has designed and built a brand new WIBS’ website, free of charge, so that WIBS can present a modern, fresh and informative site to the world.  What’s more, the way the website was designed, allows for easy editing, which means that the content can be updated instantly.  Check it out on www.wibspain.com.

Women in Business Spain toast 10 year anniversary at Tikitano

Thursday, July 19th, 2012

On Friday 9th July, Women in Business Spain celebrated their 10th anniversary with a slap up lunch, liberal amounts of wine and a lot of laughs, at the Tikitano restaurant in Estepona. Reinforcing all the reasons why the organisation has been such a success over the last decade.

Women in Business Spain started out as a small group of ladies meeting in Marbella, today it is considered to be one of the most effective female support systems on the Costa del Sol.  It provides a platform for like-minded ladies to share ideas and of course to spread the word about their respective businesses and skills.

Having reached the milestone 10 year anniversary, the ladies of WIBS decided to really push the boat out, choosing the spectacular beach side restaurant Tikitano, as the setting for a delicious celebratory lunch.  A menu of fine food, good wine and heart-felt speeches was followed by a fashion show by Twist boutique (CC La Colonia, San Pedro) and a raffle with prizes supplied by each WIBS member.

Caroline Bowley, President of WIBs says “We are extremely proud that after 10 years WIBS is stronger than ever.  When running a business, especially in hard times, support and inspiration are essential – and this is what WIBS does best”.

WIBS also provides the opportunity to get involved with local charities, forge business alliances and of course make new friends and let your hair down at the regular social events.

Women in Business Networking Breakfast

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

Redline Company is active in getting to know new businesses and we love networking events. Therefore, Line Lyster, owner of Redline Company is a member of the networking group Women in Business and we attended their last event, the WIB Networking Breakfast on 07/10/11.

It was not only a nice breakfast in San Pedro´s Passion Café, all the participants had the opportunity to introduce their businesses and get to know each other in a friendly and informal atmosphere. We received lots of energy and motivation from the special guests, inspirational speakers from UK, Debbie Arnold and Caroline Sheridan who are launching their business ¨Inspirational & Reinvention Group¨.

The Women in Business organisation is almost 10 years old and since its beginning, some members of the group did business together, but also, became lifelong friends. These lovely events that are taking place every month, are organised by Caroline Bowley and are visited by long time members as well as many new faces.

Whether you want to promote your business or meet up with knowledgeable and talented businesswomen from various industries, join Women in Business Spain (http://www.wibspain.com/) today.

We look forward to seeing you at the next event.
