Gintare

Gintare Sarmaviciute

When you are born and raised in Vilnius (Lithuania), a career in advertising and film is not the first thing that comes to mind;  it’s a small city in the Baltics with bags of energy and a lot of creative ideas, but not much opportunity to realize them.  People are starting to get a grip of what graphic design is, the concepts of contemporary Hollywood film are now being applied in Lithuanian cinema, and the government is starting to provide young people with various educational programs focusing on different types of intellectual property.

I am studying ‘Creative Industries’ which covers marketing, public relations, advertising, as well as the more practical subjects such as graphic design and film, and it is first of its kind in Lithuania. I decided to enroll after graduating high school as I was interested in the many different yet related subjects. In the first two years of university I participated in several film and advertising related projects, which only served to increase my interest in the field.

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013

Perfect Liaisons, Southern Spain’s only platonic paid date service, is delighted to announce – they are now open for business. To celebrate their launch, all ladies who register online with Perfect Liaisons by Monday 11th February, will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a dinner date with a “perfect liaison” on Valentine’s Day at a top restaurant in Puerto Banús, plus a complimentary bottle of champagne.

Perfect Liaisons, brings a brand new concept to the Costa del Sol by providing platonic paid male dates for sophisticated women looking for a plus-one for special occasions, corporate events, dinners or even a round of golf.  All “liaisons” are interviewed personally to ensure that they are all well-presented personable discreet gentlemen, aged from 30 years plus, who understand the importance of treating a lady like a VIP.

The idea of a paid date is already popular in the UK and the USA as an immediate solution to finding a date at short notice. Liaisons are usually chosen on the basis that they will be good company, as opposed to film star good looks.  Contrary to popular belief, ladies don’t hire a “liaison” to get noticed, it is more about avoiding the wrong type of attention, and of course having a good time.

A breeze of Thai Style in Puerto Banús

Monday, August 6th, 2012

Thai Style, an exciting new restaurant located at the heart of Puerto Banús, held a colourful launch party on the 31st July, inviting guests to experience a taste of the Far East.

Thai Style’s guests were welcomed on a red carpet by hostesses sporting traditional Thai dress, whilst music pulsed late into the night, drinks flowed and tasty Thai treats were enjoyed by all.

To create a taste of Thailand in the middle of Marbella; all furniture, fixtures, uniforms and even the staff came directly from Thailand. Part of an international restaurant chain, this is first Thai Style to open in Spain and the only one to have a lounge bar and restaurant under the same roof.

The lively mix of guests included Spanish TV personalities, local press and of course Redline Company, who designed Thai Style’s website, menus and even produced a video. As Thai Style’s external marketing department, Redline Company will continue to provide a wide range of marketing services to promote the new restaurant in Marbella.

Enjoying the famed Thai hospitality, guests soaked up the atmosphere, sampled the menu and drank champagne, well past midnight. At the end of the evening, ladies were presented with a beautiful orchid, the inspiration for the Thai Style logo.

Redline Company had a great time and will definitely be back soon to try some more delicious dishes from the menu.

Beach Clubs

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

Marbella is well known for its beautiful beaches and historical places however it’s at night that many of the town’s beach clubs come into their own.

Located to the east of the town is Nikki Beach Club, Marbella’s must-visit beach club. The concept of combining a beach club with fashion, art, dining and entertainment was first introduced to Marbella in 1998. Today, Nikki Beach is considered to be the hottest spot on the coast, and due to its success the clubs can now be found in St. Tropez, France, Miami Beach, Florida, or Koh Samui, Thailand.

On the 6th of July, Nikki Beach celebrated their 9th anniversary, inviting all friends including Redline Company to join in the fun.

Sala Beach at Puerto Banús is a relative newcomer. The Thai-inspired beach club offers a wide range of facilities including a restaurant, spa and the opportunity to party all night. It has become a regular haunt for celebrities and footballers.

The Ocean Club has the distinction of being one of the largest beach clubs in Europe, with over 900 square metres of luxurious surroundings. It is also renowned for holding events such as the fun fuelled Champagne Spray Party. Located in the heart of Puerto Banús, guests can relax on oversized sun loungers or escape the heat by jumping in the enormous salt water swimming pool. The restaurant is also well known for the marvellous waiter service and excellent cuisine.
