 Gintare Sarmaviciute
When you are born and raised in Vilnius (Lithuania), a career in advertising and film is not the first thing that comes to mind; it’s a small city in the Baltics with bags of energy and a lot of creative ideas, but not much opportunity to realize them. People are starting to get a grip of what graphic design is, the concepts of contemporary Hollywood film are now being applied in Lithuanian cinema, and the government is starting to provide young people with various educational programs focusing on different types of intellectual property.
I am studying ‘Creative Industries’ which covers marketing, public relations, advertising, as well as the more practical subjects such as graphic design and film, and it is first of its kind in Lithuania. I decided to enroll after graduating high school as I was interested in the many different yet related subjects. In the first two years of university I participated in several film and advertising related projects, which only served to increase my interest in the field.

As Creative Industries student in Lithuania it is necessary to secure an internship during the third year, ideally this should be within a preferred area of interest and relevant to the course.
My study program is very complex and includes a variety of subjects related to different sectors of creative industries, therefore I looked at a number of video production, advertising, marketing, graphic design and event organizing companies.

What a night! On the 16th November, Redline Company set up some high octane celebrations, by throwing a party for over 150 clients, friends, press and local dignitaries at Mr Gourmet Burger restaurant in San Pedro. Revellers enjoyed free-flowing wine, mini burgers, a selection of sweet treats and a spectacular red birthday cake commissioned for the occasion. Good food, great venue and guests a go-go. Wow!

The festivities marked Redline Company’s 8th anniversary as one of Marbella’s most successful marketing and design agencies. On the night, Redline’s clients turned out in force, making for a lively mix of movers and shakers from across the spectrum of Marbella’s business community. Guests were greeted with Cava, followed by wine, beer and seemingly endlessly trays of mini burgers (known as “sliders”). High spirits and live music provided by DJ Diogo Meira continued well into the night. Everyone left with a goody bag, a piece of cake and the promise of some Redline magic.

As Redline is the creative force behind the concept and design of Mr Gourmet Burger, the restaurant provided the perfect party venue. Mr Gourmet Burger is the latest restaurant from the team behind Passion Café, serving luxury burgers in trendy surroundings.

Line Lyster, director and founder of Redline Company, says, “As an experienced marketing and PR company – Redline knows what it takes to arrange a good party! We invest the same time and energy into marketing our clients’ businesses in Marbella, mainland Spain, Scandinavia and more recently in the UK.

“Redline’s multi-national team is conversant in the latest online marketing techniques, traditional marketing, graphic design, website design, PR, Google Adwords and much more. In other words, we provide access to a fully fledged marketing team, which is ideal for those without the necessary internal resources.
We’re already looking forward to celebrating the next 8 years!
