Working in a part of Spain with a large English-speaking population means that every company has to be prepared for bilingual work, but the convenience and speed of the internet means that we now conduct business online, so requests can arrive from all parts of the world.
Recently one of our retainer clients, Norwegian company Atum & Partners S.L (www.atum.no), asked us to prepare a website and online buyers’ guide for them, which proved no problem, since our multilingual team includes two Scandinavians.

While we are often invited to handle an existing company’s social media profile, rewrite its website for SEO purposes or start a corporate blog, sometimes we are lucky enough to be asked by a new business to accompany it on its journey from a bright idea to an international brand.
When Great Local Discounts approached Redline Company we needed to hit the ground running! In a short space of time we had to create an entire brand, from designing the colourful logo, composing the strapline and deciding on the overall look of the website, to preparing membership cards. This was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed the process.
However, the launch of the local site www.greatlocaldiscounts.es was just the start, since this ambitious, go-ahead company is already getting ready to launch franchise operations in the U.K,France andGermany. We are looking forward to seeing our ‘monster’ logo all overEurope very shortly.

Redline Company was just awarded a Highly Commended at this year’s Spring Festival logo competition by the Minister for Culture of Gibraltar.
The competition allowed two entries per contestant and we presented 2 logos.
Therefore the Redline team will be present at the awards reception on Thursday the 14th April 2011 at 4.30pm at the John Mackintosh Hall in Gibraltar.
We believe that it is important to take part in these kind of activities in our area, and last year we also participated in a similar competition for the anniversary of the Kingdom of Granada 2013.
The actual winner of the competition has not yet been announced, but we are very honoured with our commendation.

One of our many clients is the local accountant’s agency Asec. Other than accounting services they provide auditing and assurance, tax, business consultancy, and much more.
This year they felt it was time for a re vamp of their corporate image and we were up for the challenge to make them stand out.
We began shyly turning their logo from a “sad A” to a “happy A”.
After Redline make over
After deciding on that change they took the daring step out of their blue corporate identity and chose to add a stroke of red into their logo – and Redline obeyed of course. We always enjoy adding a touch of red! And after this a total make over on the complete corporate image became unstoppable.
A lifting of the website, new corporate pens (in red!), innovating Corner Triangles, a new employment guide, new folders, compliment slips…and the list goes!

It’s Thursday of what is probably the most un-eventful month of the Spanish year in business, but we are sitting on nails in the Redline office impatiently awaiting the results from a logo design competition that we have entered.
The Logo competition is for the Spanish City Granada’s millennium celebration called; Reino de Granada (Eng: Reign of Granada). The concept of the competition is to create a logo and a strap line that presents, summarizes and honours the cultural heritage of the city of Granada celebrating the millennium in 2013, through years of conquest, starting with the moors or “Nazari” as they were called to the Catholic conquest and to modern times. All the changes in religion and cultures have left Granada with architectural treasures such as the world renowned “Alhambra”, which has been recognized as one of the world’s wonders by UNESCO.

We take great pride, here at Redline on our creativity and professionalism and we hold that in high regard in all we do, but we also love to take the opportunity to use that for good in any way we can. At Christmas we designed the Triple A calendar in conjunction with CJ Hadlow and recently we were given the opportunity to design a logo for a new charity based in England called The Safe House.
This March 2010, two British entrepreneurs, Nigel Hamblett and Miranda Leslau, are launching this new charitable initiative in conjunction with social entrepreneur and Patron, Kevin Green (as seen on Channel 4‟s The Secret Millionaire) and Tigrent Learning UK.
The Safe House is a two-tier enterprise borne out of the groups passionate belief that a basic financial education and learning how to practically realize dreams forms part of the foundations of future British entrepreneurial success stories. In addition, The Safe House will be working with British empty homes officers/Local Councils, Housing Associations and the private sector, regarding the possibility of taking ownership of and refurbishing even a small percentage of the (almost) one million empty homes that remain unoccupied throughout the UK.
The Safe House’s desire is to inspire and focus and help young people to pursue their dreams but also importantly to train them financially so they can practically realize their dreams. The enterprise wants to help them to use their time for good whilst helping the British economy.
As with all our logos we tried to reflect the heart of what The Safe House represented. We designed a logo to appeal to the younger generation. A logo they could relate to, that would inspire them. With the funky coloured graffiti styled logo, the pound sign to reflect the finances, coupled with the impression of a roof we wanted to reflect the mission the safe house; excitement and inspiration and guidance, all under one roof.
