As Creative Industries student in Lithuania it is necessary to secure an internship during the third year, ideally this should be within a preferred area of interest and relevant to the course.
My study program is very complex and includes a variety of subjects related to different sectors of creative industries, therefore I looked at a number of video production, advertising, marketing, graphic design and event organizing companies.

Line recently got the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by Ole V. Hansen – a well known Danish journalist from the national magazine called Familje Journalen about Gratitude Art.
This came about after the journalist Ole V. Hansen read Line’s story in the Danish magazine on the coast La Danesa and he felt it really appealed and interested him.
The article tells the story of how tragic circumstances can lead to the creation of something beautiful. For Line’s it led to “Gratitude Art”. Its products, as well as the “feel good” philosophy that lies behind it, brings happiness to people’s lives.
The article will be out in January 2011.
Gratitude Art is represented in Copenhagen, Denmark now in the Spiritual bookstore “De Ukendtes Boghandel”.

Recently we told you that we are adding to the Redline team and their presentations are now available on our website.
It has only been two weeks since their arrival from Holland, but they have already been thrown into Redline’s fast pace schedule and yesterday they came along to Line’s interview with Tony at the local radio station Central FM.
Line talked about our marketing retainers. At Redline we like to work with selected clients on a retainer basis as we believe that marketing is a constant activity that needs to be carried out continuously to support and promote your business.
When you work with us on a retainer basis it basically means we become part of your team with regular meetings, keeping to deadlines and ensuring the whole marketing process runs smoothly and that all activity works together to create a positive synergy.
The interview will be posted soon onto our website so have listen to it if you missed the show yesterday.

Earlier today Line was interviewed by the Spanish National Radio Station COPE down in Incosol hotel. Since we do a lot of merchandise at Redline, and strongly recommend our clients to do the same, Line brought some of Redline’s merchandise goodies to the interviewer – and she had the same positive reaction as so many people before her.
Who would have thought that our branded mugs, heart shaped mints or business card holders could be such a simple, yet so, appreciated gifts to the people close to us?
Back in April this year, Line and myself (Annika) went to an event called Tweet-up, a casual networking group to get people to “see the faces behind the tweets”, here in Marbella and caused quite a craving for our merchandise. Over the next weeks, to our amusement, we kept noticing people commenting on our mints, how cute and good they were and if we would bring some more to the next one. Our friends at the Tweet-up voted the redline mint heart “the best merchandise 2010”.
Merchandise might be one of the oldest tools in the marketing box, but to this day people still get very excited about key rings, USB sticks or just breathe mints, and keep them close by, for whenever they might come in handy. What a great way to get your contacts and clients to remember you!! To our experience they help to create a buzz in today’s busy market, making your brand stand out.
If you have any great merchandise stories, please share!
