Redline’s 5 insider Tips for Selecting a Good Marketing Agency

Friday, September 24th, 2010

Whether your business aim is to drive sales via a website, engage with consumers or action a rebrand, the services of a full service marketing agency can help. A full service agency can make your budget work harder, integrate into your existing team and in a sense become your marketing department.

Redline Company is a full service marketing agency based in Marbella, with a multilingual team experienced in all areas of marketing and design.

Here are our 5 insider Tips for Selecting a Good Marketing Agency

  1. Look for an agency that will listen to your ideas and work with you rather than dictate best practice. If your marketing agency can’t communicate with you then you can’t expect them to assist you in communicating with your customers!
  2. Take a close look at their own branding and marketing – does it stand out well? Are they consistent? If the agency has not been able to make a success out of their own brand then how can you expect them to achieve results for you?
  3. Ask them how they will measure the success of their work – an agency that will not provide evaluation and analysis of campaigns is not worth working with, they are probably only interested in your money.
  4. They will provide constructive criticism – a good marketing agency will tell you when they don’t agree with you and suggest better ways of working, after all they will want your business to succeed as much as you do.
  5. Go with an agency you can see a long term relationship with – whilst marketing is often project based, ideally it should be an ongoing activity that is both reactive and proactive. Find a marketing provider than can offer you ongoing services that will adapt and grow with your business.

Redline goes to the Oktoberfest!

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Prost!

The Oktoberfest is a yearly party that originates from München, Germany. The party is considered to be one of the world’s biggest beer festivals which attract over 6 million people a year. 2010 is also the 200 year anniversary of the famous beer fest.

The event is normally beautifully decorated where there are a lot of tents with rows and rows of extremely long tables, where people can drink beer in the famous 1 litre glasses. Another remarkable thing about this particular event is that most of the people wear traditional clothes. There are normally a lot of activities like live bands playing.

Unfortunately, we are not able to travel all the way to Germany. So when we heard that the City of Marbella will have its own edition of  this famous event we are of course going, hoping to have a good time with the Redline team.

The Marbella Oktoberfest 2010 will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of September in Parque Fuerte Nagüeles. We hope to see you there!

Interview with Redline on Centralfm

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Recently we told you that we are adding to the Redline team and their presentations are now available on our website.

It has only been two weeks since their arrival from Holland, but they have already been thrown into Redline’s fast pace schedule and yesterday they came along to Line’s interview with Tony at the local radio station Central FM.

Line talked about our marketing retainers. At Redline we like to work with selected clients on a retainer basis as we believe that marketing is a constant activity that needs to be carried out continuously to support and promote your business.

When you work with us on a retainer basis it basically means we become part of your team with regular meetings, keeping to deadlines and ensuring the whole marketing process runs smoothly and that all activity works together to create a positive synergy.

The interview will be posted soon onto our website so have listen to it if you missed the show yesterday.

Tweet Marbella

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

Since the rise of social media within the marketing field, spontaneous get-togethers are rather easy to arrange with event invitations on Facebook or “Tweetvites”. The event serves networking purposes; specifically to get people away from online networking and the computer screens and get them to show their faces and meet people they follow or are followed by themselves.

Redline had the opportunity to attend the Marbella Tweet up, held yesterday in Guey Restaurant, Nueva Andalucía. Tweet Marbella is organized by local business woman Nicola Erlich, specializing in social media and event organisation. The event is visited by mostly expats living in the area, but the Spanish are more and more joining in as well – which makes the event multicultural, fitting the image of Marbella perfectly.

Make sure to join this crowd next time around – follow the hash tags #tweetmarbella on Twitter to get more information.
