Passion Café Client Testimonial

May 15th, 2012  / Author: admin

It’s always exciting when a business that has already achieved outstanding popularity and success employs us as its external marketing department! Redline Company was approached by Passion Café primarily to institute a general marketing strategy. This family oriented restaurant already enjoys a solid reputation locally and therefore has a loyal clientele.

In a series of meetings it was decided that a Diner’s Happy Hour Offer should be run during March, the general intention being to offer clients something of immediate value; in this case a two-course meal for a set price between the hours of 19:00 and 22:00 at a special price of 15 euros was suggested.

The Passion Café staff has noticed that especially couples take advantage of the Happy Hour offer to enjoy a three-course dinner; one chooses a starter and a main, while the other opts for a main course and a dessert. So far the offer has been very popular and the tables are filling up nicely during the evenings.

Redline Company has also written, designed and built a new website for Passion Café that better reflects its current image. We have also visited the restaurant to take photographs and video footage to be uploaded onto the internet. A regular newsletter will keep subscribers up to date with all the latest promotions and a monthly draw will be held; a voucher that can be exchanged for meals at Passion Café will be the prize.

Passion Café is very pleased with the results that Redline Company has obtained: “We found that the brainstorming sessions that we were able to have were very useful and resulted in some good ideas that we have already been able to institute. Since the Passion Café team is always busy at the restaurant, it has been helpful to organise meetings at the Redline office and plan our strategy away in relative peace and quiet. We are very happy with the results that have already been delivered, via the Happy Hour campaign and the new website.”

Planning campaigns for such a well known business as this has been very enjoyable and has enabled the Redline Company team to work closely with Passion Café in order to draw up a detailed strategy that will both attract and benefit its target clientele.

Turn Social Media into Business Media

May 9th, 2012  / Author: admin

Don´t be deceived by the term “social media” – it is now used for business equally as much as pleasure. And while posting a Facebook update from time to time might be fun and easy to do, a continuous, optimised social media presence requires careful research of your target market, knowledge of the newest social media technologies and trends, not to mention the skill to produce engaging content.

In fact, many business owners contact us when the initial excitement of having a social media account has faded and they have run out of time and ideas for posting interesting content. This is a critical time as we know that once you have lost the attention of your audience, it is much harder to regain it than it is to attract it in the first place.

At the moment, the leading social media used by businesses are Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs – but this landscape is evolving quickly, and new platforms keep mushrooming, attempting to dethrone the giants.

Contrary to what many people think, the use of these media for business is more complicated than simply posting sales materials. Social media experts agree that the most successful businesses use these platforms to create lasting, two-way relationships with their clients. Word of mouth is key here, and customer-to-customer recommendations seem to translate to ROI much better than top-down, propaganda-style advertising.

Apart from enhancing your relationship with the clients, social media is an important tool in search engine marketing. By including links, tags and keywords in social media content, we can make your website appear in search results related to your business.

At Redline Company we follow all the latest trends and developments in social media. We can research, plan and create your social media campaign from scratch or take over your existing channels, making sure you keep posting valuable content which conveys your corporate philosophy and turns your customers into spokespeople for your brand.

Redline attends Infuschia´s launch party

May 3rd, 2012  / Author: admin

On April 27, Redline´s Line Lyster, Annika Ostman and Lulu Beretta attended the launch party of a new Asian restaurant Infuschia.
Infuschia is a newly opened partner of Tibu, the world famous nightclub in Puerto Banus.
The ladies had a chance to try some of Infuschia´s Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Vietnamese inspired dishes served on the restaurant´s roof terrace overlooking the Antonio Banderas Square, and then enjoyed cocktails and music. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live Teppanyaki show, with the chef skilfully juggling pieces of raw seafood and meat on the griddle, right in front of the dazzled guests.

Pinterest – Facebook on steroids?

April 17th, 2012  / Author: admin

Pinterest is a new social networking website where users share images that reflect their likes and interests on Virtual bulletin boards called pinboards.

Founded in 2008, Pinterest is the fastest social media website to date to break the 10 million users benchmark, which gained it the nickname “Facebook on steroids”. However, as of February 2012, it isn’t generating significant income for its creators. Can it do so for its business users?

Pinterest for brands lets businesses showcase their products and harness the power of word of mouth by letting other users re-pin their content.

One of the most interesting facts about Pinterest is that an overwhelming 97 per cent of its Facebook ‘likes’ comes from female users between the ages of 25 and 44. That is why the website is quickly attracting the attention of advertisers and marketers, who are aware of the great buying power of this demographic – and why pinboards about fashion, holidays, interior design, wedding planning, and recipes are among the most popular.

Initially some doubt about Pinterest’s legality was expressed by the press, who published horror stories about former users who had left Pinterest due to their fear that they would be prosecuted for breaching copyright laws. In response to this, Pinterest has changed its terms and now includes simple tools to permit users to report any infringement of copyright or trademarks.

We believe Pinterest has the potential to become part of a business’s standard social media package because it is much more visual than other networks, providing users with a browsing experience that closely resembles shopping and is a great tool for creating a brand lifestyle by sharing images of popular products.

If you would like to learn more about how to obtain the most from Pinterest as a social media platform, please contact Redline Company on info@redlinecompany.com or Tel: +34 952 816 678.

Redline Company celebrates the arrival of Ogee Magazine

April 10th, 2012  / Author: admin

Here’s a Redline secret; there’s nothing that we like more than being invited to join a project right at the beginning! Of course, it’s not always possible but when Vladan Stojic, of construction company, Estomar91, approached us with the idea of producing a magazine, we were very excited.

The brief for this brand new publication was the production of a 40-page magazine in English and Spanish, focusing on Estomar91′s main areas of interest, which are building and project management, architecture and interior and furniture design. It was obviously important to Vladan that we all worked together to create something that was informative, interesting and visually appealing.

In a series of meetings we agreed on a name (Ogee Magazine), finalised the content and arrived at an achievable deadline. While Vladan had some firm ideas of what he felt should appear in the first issue, the Redline team was able to construct a flatplan that incorporated all of his suggestions while adding some material that would attract a wider readership and including some space for advertisements.

Redline’s second task was to create a website as an accompaniment to the hard copy of the magazine with the aim of including as many keywords as possible to drive potential clients to Estomar91′s main website, while ensuring that the text reflected the same style and quality as that in the magazine.

We had a great time working on this project and are already looking forward to the next edition, which is scheduled for June.

Facebook Timeline function available for businesses

March 30th, 2012  / Author: admin

Facebook will update all business pages to the Timeline layout today. So how will Timeline change communication between businesses and their clients?

Timeline is much more visual than the old Facebook page: the cover photo is an eye-catching space, perfect for displaying a large, attractive picture of a product or an image conveying the idea of your business. The profile picture space remains, which can now be used to show the company’s logo. The info section is more visible as well, making it a great place for a short summary of your business, a mission statement or an inspirational quote.

What is more, Timeline enables better interaction with fans by letting them exchange private messages with you. For instance, complaints can now be dealt with privately rather than appearing on your wall.

The actual Timeline can feature milestones in the history of your business, showing the growth and positive changes that took place since its inception. This is also a great opportunity for creating an emotional connection with your fans – imagine someone posting a photo of their child wearing your company’s t-shirt or tagging themselves in a post telling everyone that their girlfriend accepted a proposal while having dinner at your restaurant.

Last but not least, new insights has been integrated with the admin panel, making it easier for you to access your page’s analytics and find out how many people like it or have mentioned it in a post, and how many users it is reaching.

Timeline allows you to sort posts by importance – you can ‘star’ a post to enlarge it or ‘pin’ it so that it stays on top of the page for up to a week.

All in all, a business Timeline can be much more appealing than a website, but in the long run it might turn out not to be as revolutionary as it now seems in terms of functionality, because the businesses’ posts will still be showing on the fans’ news feed in the same way. Sadly, after ‘liking’ a page most users never come back to it, so the news feed remains the most effective way of reaching them.

Did you know that Redline Company has the expertise to help you to harness the power of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter? Contact us to find out how we can harness your Twitter account and Facebook page to drive potential clients to your website and create messages and tweets that offer valuable information about your business.
